Declercq Passementiers au Peninsula Paris

Après plus de 4 ans de travaux... Le Peninsula Paris ouvre enfin ses portes !

C'est le premier hôtel du groupe Peninsula à ouvrir en Europe, un vérirable événement dans le monde de l'hôtellerie de luxe.

Beaucoup de grands artisans français ont travaillé sur ce chantier, démontrant que savoir-faire ancestral et haute technologique pouvaient harmonieusement cohabiter. 

Declercq Passementiers a eu l'honneur de participer à ce superbe projet, notamment pour le décor du restaurant gastronomique cantonais, dirigé par le célèbre chef Chi Keung Tang. Un décor théâtral, tout à la fois flamboyant (hauts plafonds, riches drapés...) et intimiste (alcôves et banquettes en velours) évoquant un Shangaï de rêve.

Le voyage commence dès l'entrée du prestigieux restaurant Lili, avec la tenture en fibre optique (révolutionnaire !) réalisée grâce aux talents conjugués de Declercq Passementiers et Henry Leung avec Design Percept et Brochier Technologies. Des mois de recherche et de mise au point pour un résultat bluffant. Le portrait géant d'une cantatrice chinoise sur un rideau de lumière...

After more than four years in the making... The Peninsula Paris finally opens its doors! This is the first Peninsula hotel in Europe, a real happening in the world of luxury hotels.

Some of France’s finest craftsmen worked on this project, showing that ancestral know-how and high technology can coexist in harmony.

Declercq Passementiers had the honour of participating in this stunning project, including the decoration of the gourmet Cantonese restaurant, run by celebrity chef Tang Chi Keung. A theatrical setting, both flamboyant (high ceilings, rich draperies) and intimate (alcoves and velvet banquettes) evoking a dream-like Shanghai.

The journey begins with the (revolutionary!) fiber optic hanging at the entrance to the prestigious Lili restaurant, created by the combined talents of Declercq Passementiers and Henry Leung with Design Percept and Brochier Technologies. Months of research and development for a stunning result: the giant portrait of a Chinese opera singer on a light curtain.

Derniers ajustements des 3200 perles satinées sur le cablé de fibre optique...

Et le regard de Lili s'illumine...

Dans le restaurant, d'extraordinaires embrasses chinoises en soie bleue et ganse carrée, incroyables par leur taille (1m60 de hauteur !), elles ont beaucoup d'allure sur les élégants drapés rouges de la grande salle.  Une impressionnante finesse d'exécution: remplissage, frange croisillonnée, mèches tonneaux en escalier...
